This will be a quick one today. I had mentioned how you and your art could be a solution for your community, and this is a great way to become a central part of your community, connect, collaborate and show you care (all 4 C’s of audience development are covered).
We can also think of community solutions going the other way though. What are your audiences’ challenges? How can you collaborate with your community to come up with solutions to address and care for your audience members’ needs?
Community can be a solution that goes both ways. You can help your community, and your community can help you. Find ways to connect on this level, and watch your audience grow (and grow in admiration in regard to the community team member that you are!).
