Last thought before the weekend – sharing is still the ultimate way to spread the word on social media. I have been seeing likes, favorites, and a few comments, but sharing an event is still the best way to bulk up your organic outreach.
Here’s the challenge, for some reason, people are not sharing these days. Why do you think people are not sharing?
I would say that one of the reasons is the fact they are not asked to share. Another reason may be that they don’t think it is their “job” to do this. If there is an event that includes artists, actors, musicians, dancers, etc., it is everyone’s “job” to share this event. Each one of us has a circle of people, and each one of us should be invested in the success of the event! Successful events equals more money and momentum for future events (more gigs and opportunities for you!).
In any case, I would make it a habit to ask people to share on social media, and do whatever else you can to get people to hit the share, retweet buttons.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers to happy and loyal audiences,
