Just a quick thought today. I am still seeing organizations that are attempting to go it alone, meaning, they have yet to become a part of their community. Sure, you want to build people around your art form and organization, but people will go to you if you go to them and become a part of the whole picture.
What can you do to insert yourself into your community? This goes beyond the simple outreach concerts. Can you take part in a community activity? Can you have conversations with officials to collaborate on community solutions?
You want to be seen. The internet is a clustered mess of noise. Be seen out there in real time, and become a part of your community again. The organizations and artists that are doing this are seeing great results!
Cheers to happy and loyal audiences,
Shoshana
